SENSUAL

Awaken your seductive, sensual side!

with pure essential oils of
Patchouli
Ylang Ylang
and Bergamot

An EXOTIC and SOOTHING combination
ideal for relaxation and pampering

About the essential oils:
Patchouli
The essential oil is distilled from the dried leaves of the bush which is grown throughout the tropics and South America. It has an exotic and powerful aroma that most people seem to either love or hate - no in between! If you love Patchouli you will love this blend! Patchouli is extremely relaxing and soothing so promoting a 'chilled out' feeling. Additionally it has excellent skin care properties, being particularly ideal for drier skin types.
Ylang Ylang
A small tree that grows throughout the tropics, the essential oil is distilled from the flowers. The first distillate, which is the top grade, is known as Ylang Ylang complete or xtra. Subsequent distillates are then graded 1,2 and 3. We use Ylang Ylang complete and grade 1 in our products. The aroma of Ylang Ylang is exotic, sweet and floral. Similar to Patchouli, it is an incredibly relaxing and soothing oil that promotes sensuality. Additionally it also has excellent skin care properties.
Bergamot
The essential oil is cold pressed from the rind of the fruit (a small orange) that grows on the Bergamot tree. We only use FCF Bergamot (furocoumarins free) in our products to avoid photosensitisation effects. The oil has a fresh, fruity aroma that is uplifting (without being stimulating). It is included in this blend to 'lighten' the otherwise heavy aroma.

Caution: Do not use during pregnancy

About the essential oils:
Rose De Mai
The essential oil is produced from the petals by a method called enfleurage. It is expensive due to the production method and the quantity of petals required. However, it is very concentrated with an intense aroma so only small amounts are needed in products. Rose has a beautiful and feminine aroma that is emotionally uplifting. It has fantastic skincare properties, being soothing, a skin tonic and astringent. It is particularly suited to drier, sensitive skin types.
Neroli
The essential oil is produced from the flowers of the Bitter Orange by a method called enfleurage. It is expensive due to the production method and the quantity of flowers required. However, it is concentrated with an intense aroma so only small amounts are needed in products. Neroli has a beautiful 'bitter but fruity' aroma that is particularly known for being emotionally uplifting.
Jasmine
The essential oil is extracted from the flowers using a method called enfleurage. It is expensive (due to the production method and quantity of flowers required) and has a heavy, heady aroma. Only small amounts are required in blends to prevent it being overpowering. Jasmine is extremely soothing, relaxing and emotionally 'warming' and promotes a sense of wellbeing.
