Pulse Point Rollerball

Promote mental relaxation and inner calm

Bergamot
Clary Sage
Ylang Ylang
and Cedarwood

Ideal when you feel worried or unsettled

About the essential oils
Bergamot
The essential oil is cold pressed from the rind of the fruit (a small orange) that grows on the Bergamot tree. We only use FCF Bergamot (furocoumarins free) in our products to avoid photosensitisation effects. The oil has a fresh, fruity aroma that is uplifting and cheering (without being stimulating).
Clary Sage
Related to common sage, the essential oil is distilled from the flowers but not have the same toxicity risks as common sage. Clary sage has a distinctive light, nutty aroma and is powerfully relaxing ideal for easing mental and emotional tension so that you can 'switch off' more easily.
Ylang Ylang
A small tree that grows throughout the tropics, the essential oil is distilled from the flowers. It is unusal in that the flowers can be distilled serveral times to produce the oil.The first distillate is known as Ylang Ylang 1 and subsequent distillates are then graded 2 and 3. A mixture of the grades is known as Ylang Ylang complete. All have similar therapeutic properties and we use Ylang Ylang complete or grade 1 in our products. The aroma of Ylang Ylang is exotic, sweet and floral. It is an incredibly relaxing and soothing oil that promotes mental relaxation and a feeling of inner peace.
Cedarwood
The essential oil is distilled from wood chippings. Cedarwood has a warm, woody aroma and has a tonic effect on both mind and body making it ideal for relaxation and unwinding.

COMFORT AND UPLIFT
Pulse Point Rollerball

Gently uplift and cheer the emotions

with pure essential oils of
Sandalwood
Bergamot
and Neroli

Ideal when you feel sad or rundown

About the essential oils
Sandalwood
The essential oil is distilled from the heartwood. Sandalwood is a parasitic tree that obtains nutrients by attaching suckers to the roots of surrounding trees. It is slow growing and only trees near the end of their natural life are cut. The trunks are then left on the floor for insects to eat. The remaining heartwood, which the insects don't attack, is then used to extract oil or for furniture etc. Sandalwood has a rich, woody aroma that is very relaxing and uplifting.
Neroli
The essential oil is produced from the flowers of the Bitter Orange by a method called enfleurage. It is expensive due to the production method and the quantity of flowers required. However, it is concentrated with an intense aroma so only small amounts are needed in products. Neroli has a beautiful 'bitter but fruity' aroma that is particularly known for being emotionally uplifting.

SETTLE AND COMPOSE
Pulse Point Rollerball

'Ground, relax and reconnect'

with pure essential oils of
Frankincense
Rosewood
and Vetivert

Ideal when you feel 'distant', nervous or 'shakey' (such as before a speech)

(Awaiting picture)

About the essential oils:
Frankincense
The essential oil is extracted from the resin of the tree by distillation and is extremely relaxing and calming, both mentally and physically. It has long been associated with the practice of meditation and in particular slows and deepens the breathing, so promoting a calm and relaxed state.
Rosewood
The essential oil is distilled from the wood chippings of the Rosewood tree that grows throughout Brazil. We are extremely careful in sourcing Rosewood and only use oil from certified suppliers who guarantee a commitment to maintain the biological balance and curb deforestation. Rosewood is a beautiful oil that has a gentle tonic and uplifting effect on the emotions whilst ‘clearing’ and refreshing the mind. It is described by some as having the ability to ‘uplift the soul’ and is particularly useful for steadying nerves.
Vetivert
A scented grass native to India. The essential oil is distilled from the roots. It has a solid, earthy aroma and is deeply relaxing, sometimes being known as ‘the oil of tranquility’. It is stabilising and grounding and can promote re-focusing and reconnection with the present moment.
