HAND CREAMS
Light and easily absorbed hand creams
made with natural vegetable oils for deep skin nourishment
and pure essential oils selected for their skin care benefits

The base cream for all our hand creams is made with the following natural vegetable oils:
Sunflower Oil
Rich in linoleic acid which is an essential fatty acid required for healthy skin. Nourishes the skin and is easily absorbed making the cream 'light' and enhancing the absorption of other ingredients
Sweet Almond Oil
A classic skin care oil that is easily absorbed, leaving the skin soft smooth and supple.
Shea Butter
Promotes the growth of healthy new skin cells and has excellent moisture-retaining properties, making the skin soft and supple.
Macadamia Oil
Rich in palmitoleic acid which occurs naturally in the skin (but reduces with age), the function of which is to maintain moisture levels. Macadamia oil is therefore an excellent moisturiser.

Nourishing and Softening - ideal for dry / rough hands
Both Frankincense and Myrrh are expensive essential oils that are distilled from the resin exuded from the bark of the trees. They are excellent for dry and rough skin and coupled with sunflower oil, deeply nourish, soften and smooth hands.
The aroma of this hand cream is 'heavy' and 'deep' as they are both base note essential oils. If you particularly like the aroma of myrrh you will just love this! It is also an ideal choice for people who do not like floral aromas.
Rosehip, Palmarosa and Ylang Ylang Hand cream
Nourishing and Replenishing - ideal for dry / sensitive hands
This hand cream is enriched with Rosehip seed extract, a botanical CO2 extract that is pure, gentle and concentrated. It is rich in vitamin A and very beneficial for dry and sensitive skin.
Palmarosa is a scented grass native to India. The essential oil is distilled from the fresh or dried grass and it has many beneficial skincare properties. It is hydrating, balancing, antiseptic and promotes healthy skin growth. Ylang Ylang is a small tree that grows throughout the tropics, the essential oil is distilled from the flowers. The aroma of is exotic, sweet and floral and has excellent skin care properties, being soothing, calming and balancing. This hand cream has a light floral aroma.
Gardener's Hand cream
Intensely Nourishing and Soothing - ideal for dry / sore hands
Enriched with Amaranth seed extract, a botanical CO2 extract that is pure, gentle and concentrated. Amaranth seed has excellent skin care properties, being especially ideal for dry and problem skin as it deeply nourishes and encourages smoother, softer, healthy skin.
This hand cream contains the Gardener's blend of organic Lavender and Tea Tree pure essential oils. Lavender essential oil is distilled from the flowering tops of the plant. The aroma of organic oil is slightly different to that of non-organic, being sweeter and 'softer'. Lavender is particularly beneficial for the skin as it is calming, balancing, soothing and antiseptic. Tea Tree essential oil is distilled from the leaves and twigs of the tree that is native to Australia. It is best known for being a powerful antiseptic and is also cleansing and refreshing. The organic oil has a more 'rounded' and less 'piercing' aroma than the non organic and combines beautifully with organic lavender, giving a delightful aroma.

About the natural ingredients:
Hemp Seed Oil
This vegetable oil contains many essential fatty acids required for healthy skin and also naturally occurring vitamin E. It is easily and deeply absorbed by the skin, which as a result becomes deeply nourished and conditioned.
Myrhh Pure Essential Oil
Myrrh is an expensive essential oils that is distilled from the resin exuded from the bark of the tree. It is however, excellent for dry and rough skin, deeply nourishing, softening and smoothing it.
Lemon Pure Essential Oil
The essential oil is cold pressed from the rind and as expected has a 'zesty' citrus aroma of fresh lemons. It has strong antiseptic properties and is useful if cuticles are rough and ragged.
Sesame Oil
This vegetable oil has a high omega 6 fatty acid content and so softens and nourishes the skin. It is ideal for conditioning rough cuticles.
Apricot Kernal Oil
This vegetable oil is ideal for sensitive skin and leaves it feeling smooth and soft.
Jojoba Oil
This vegetable oil softens and protects the skin and improves suppleness, ideal for restoring rough and ragged cuticles.
Natural Vitamin E
A strong antioxidant that restores and promotes healthy, smooth, soft skin.

About the natural ingredients:
A classic skin care oil that is easily absorbed, keeping lips soft, smooth and supple. Cocoa Butter
This is derived from the cocoa bean that grows on the cocoa tree. It nourishes, protects and softens skin and lips.
Beeswax (certified organic)
Creates a protective barrier for the lips (useful against the elements) but importantly still allows the skin to function normally. We use natural, unrefined, white organic beeswax from a fair-trade project.
Lip balms that contain paraffin wax or mineral oils are best avoided. These too create a barrier but unlike beeswax, they 'seal' the skin and prevent normal functioning (think of covering your skin with cling film). This may eventually result in dependency on the product. Additionally they are not natural products.
Natural Lip Balm is available flavoured with the following pure essential oils:
